SANDBAGGING GUIDELINES

WE DO NOT TOLERATE SANDBAGGING

To ensure a fair and enjoyable competition for all players, the following guidelines are in place to prevent sandbagging in our volleyball tournaments:

1. **Honesty in Skill Level**: When registering, accurately represent your skill level based on your experience, league standings, and past tournament results. Misrepresentation may lead to disqualification.

2. **Division Placement**: You may be placed in a division that matches your skill level. Please respect this placement to maintain fair competition.

3. **Performance Monitoring**: Your performance will be monitored throughout the tournament. Consistently dominating a lower division may result in reassignment to a higher division.

4. **Observation and Checks**: Tournament staff may conduct random checks to ensure players are competing at their true skill level. Cooperation with these checks is expected.

5. **Reporting Concerns**: If you suspect another player or team of sandbagging, please report your concerns to tournament staff discreetly. All reports will be investigated.

6. **Penalties for Sandbagging**: Engaging in sandbagging may result in penalties such as disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and bans from future tournaments.

7. **Right to Appeal**: If you believe you have been unfairly accused of sandbagging, you have the right to appeal the decision and provide evidence supporting your claim.

8. **Respect and Sportsmanship**: Above all, we expect all players to exhibit respect and sportsmanship towards fellow competitors and officials.

By adhering to these guidelines, we can ensure a competitive and enjoyable environment for all. Thank you for your cooperation and participation!
