🚫 SANDBAGGING GUIDELINES
(Grass Volleyball Competitive Integrity Policy)

Sandbagging damages competitive balance and will not be tolerated.
Definition
Sandbagging is entering a division below your actual skill level to gain a competitive advantage.
Examples include:
- Open-level players entering BB or A divisions
- AA players entering BB
- Consistent podium-level teams playing below division
- Former collegiate players entering recreational divisions
Division Standards (General Framework)
Open: High-level tournament players, college-level, elite club
AA: Strong competitive tournament players
A: Solid experienced tournament players
BB: Developing tournament players
Juniors: Age-based divisions only
Director Authority
Tournament directors reserve the right to:
- Move a team up before play begins
- Disqualify a team without refund
- Remove teams from playoffs
- Ban repeat offenders from future events
Decisions are final.
Reporting
Concerns may be submitted privately to the tournament director. Public confrontation between teams will not be tolerated.
Transparency Rule
If you have to ask whether you belong in a lower division — you likely do not.
